Snooty Feline
The Persian is one of these oldest breeds around today. They were originally found in Mesopotamia and later on became Queen Victoria’s most beloved cat. No wonder this breed seems snooty, they were amongst the most noble and royal of people.
The Persian has been know for their placid and quiet behaviour. They are also known for their self-entitled and snooty air that they radiate. If you treat your Persian with gentleness they deserve, then you will have a cat that wants to always be perched on your lap.
The Persian has longer hair compared to most cats. They love to be pampered by their owner with a gentle combing at least twice a week. This is also a great way to bond with your fur ball.
Persians are not comfortable in a noisy environment and for this reason they do not do well in homes that have very young children. This cat only trusts their owners and if you have visitors over that your Persian does not trust, then don’t expect your cat to even acknowledge your guests.
These cats are not very energetic so they aren’t as destructive as most cats. They prefer to just laze about in their favourite chair.
