Chihuahuas are active dogs and need exercise to get rid of all that energy. They are loving towards their owners and they tend to form very close bonds with their owner too.
The chihuahua is a demanding breed, and this makes it so important that they are trained once you have one. They have been know to be fussy eaters as well, so it is important to stick to a good diet. If they aren’t trained from a young age, they will run YOUR household.
This little dynamite breed has the heart of a lion. They are very suspicious of other animals and humans around their owner. When chihuahua’s shake, they are either cold, nervous or excited.
If you have young children in your home, this breed would not be suitable because of their size. They are able to get along with other animals if they were socialised as pups. If you are looking for a baby in the house to give lots of love to, travel with and have a loyal protector by your side…then the Chihuahua is the dog for you.
